LockIn Privacy Policy

LockIn is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

LockIn is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We do not require accounts and do not store any data on cloud servers:

  • All photos are stored locally on your device only
  • Photos are saved both in the app's local storage and your device's camera roll/gallery
  • No personal information, photos, or progress data is transmitted to our servers
  • Basic usage analytics may be collected anonymously to improve app performance
  • Crash reports may be sent to fix bugs and improve stability

Photo Storage and Security

LockIn stores all progress photos locally on your device. The app saves photos in two locations:

  • Within the app's private storage directory
  • In your device's camera roll/gallery for easy access

IMPORTANT: We are not liable for any unauthorized access to, loss, or leakage of your photos. Since we have no control over images once they are stored on your device (including in your camera roll), we cannot guarantee their security. Data backup is entirely your responsibility.

User Responsibility

As LockIn operates without cloud storage or account systems:

  • You are solely responsible for backing up your progress photos
  • If you uninstall the app, photos in the app's storage will be permanently lost
  • Photos in your camera roll will remain after uninstallation
  • We recommend regular device backups to preserve your progress photos

Third-Party Services

LockIn may use third-party services for analytics or crash reporting. These services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
